MISSION

To make adults in our congregation aware of various programs, meetings and seminars in and around our community, which would enhance our members’ personal and spiritual growth and well-being.

EVENTS AND PLANS

The Adult Council plans and organizes events for all "adults", as well as notifying the congregation of other local events of interest, and providing the opportunity to secure group ticket rates, such as Little Theatre and local high school productions.

Each year we sponsor a Valentine's Banquet which includes food, fun and fellowship. Attendees are given a chance to participate in games such as our version of popular game shows. You just never know what will be on tap – Family Feud,  Holy Word Squares,  and Bible Trivia are just a few of the diversions. We also give away lots of door prizes.

In the fall, the congregation is invited to an afternoon picnic held at Cowpens National Battlefield Park, featuring again, food, fellowship and fun for all ages. Sit back and eat delicious picnic food, take a leisurely stroll or a hike in the woods, or enjoy watching the sack races.
