Children's Council
Meeting Schedule
Planet 56 - Fifth and Sixth graders are always welcome to join us for any children's activities, but sometimes they enjoy getting away to do their own thing! Watch the bulletin and newsletter for special activities planned just for this age group. In the past they have done everything from snow tubing to rock climbing. They would love to have you!

Kidz Klub - Calling all kids! Kidz Klub meets every Wednesday night from 6:30-7:30 in the Child Development Center. All kids ages 3 - 6th grade are invited to join us. We are having a great time getting to know new friends and learning about Jesus. Join us in the Zone! We are still in need of adult volunteers to help on Wednesday nights. Please contact Robin Wilson or the church office if you can help!

KIDZ KLUB
WHO? All kids ages 3 - 6th grade!
WHAT? Kidz Klub
WHEN? Every Wednesday from 6:30 - 7:30 (August 24th - November 9th)
WHERE? UMCC Child Development Center
WHY? Fellowship, fun, food and learning about Jesus!

Our annual Covenant Fall Festival will be Sunday, October 30, from 3:00-6:00 in the Child Development Center. All children and their families are invited to join us in costume for fun, games, prizes and Trunk or Treat! Games will be from 3:00-5:00 and then we will go outside for Trunk or Treat fun from 5:00-6:00. Plan to join us and bring a friend! We want to make this the best fall festival ever and we will need YOUR help to make it happen! How can you help?

  • Donate individually wrapped candy or treats
  • Help with games (set up, play, clean up)-Our youth did a GREAT job last year and we hope we can count on you again!!
  • Donate baked goods for the cake walk such as cakes, cookies, brownies, etc. (This is Mark Wilson's favorite game of all!)
  • Provide a trunk for Trunk or Treat

WHAT IS TRUNK OR TREAT, you ask? Trunk or Treat has been in practice at several neighboring churches and the children love it! The kids trick or treat safely from trunk to trunk instead of from door to door. HOW CAN YOU HELP? Decorate your trunk, add candy or treats, and be in the designated Trunk or Treat area of the parking lot ready to begin at 5:00. (Some folks, I am told, are really elaborate decorators with special touches like costumes, lights and music. ) We are hoping to see many adults and youth there with trunks at the ready! We would love it if Sunday School Classes, Councils and special groups would sponsor a trunk. This is a great way to provide a fun and safe time for our children as well as a terrific way to reach out to our community. We hope to see you there for a "spooktacular" evening!

Please contact Robin Wilson or the church office if you would like to help in any way or if you have questions. Also, watch for sign up sheets at church in the near future! WE NEED YOU! PLEASE HELP!! THANK YOU!

Birthday Party for Jesus - We end our year by celebrating the One who is the reason for the season! This year, our birthday celebration for Jesus will be held on December 11 from 3:00-5:00. This will be a fun and meaningful time to remember the true meaning of Christmas!
