Mission
The mission of the Communications Council at the United Methodist Church of the Covenant consists of striving to effectively communicate all messages from each council involved within the church to the congregation family and to visitors within the community.

Responsibilities
The communications council is responsible for the outdoor sign, the monthly newsletter (Covenant Connection), the website, the signage inside and outside the church, the phone tree, bulletin boards inside the halls of the church, and the church directory that we try to update every three to five years.

Events
The Communications Council strives in helping advertise events that other councils plan to the church family, church visitors, and the community as a whole.  The Communications Council helps plan fundraisers for special needs. 

Plans
The Communications Council is currently planning to publish the church directory with updated information, purchase a new outside sign, and purchase room directions/signage for inside the church for clearer directions to find your way around.  The Communications Council is also requesting that everyone, members and/or visitors give Don Gilespie any updated information or news to post on our Website.
