Help Wanted
We need volunteers in the following areas:

Music in the Contemporary Service
The Music Team for Celebrations Service hopes to provide fresh and uplifting music so that all members and visitors will have a joyous worship experience, and to join in as they feel moved to do.
We are currently trying to put together a third music group, but we need a few more folks to step up to the challenge. New members Paul and Angie Ricardi (bass guitar, keyboards respectively) and Rusty Stafford (lead guitar) have signed on for this fledgling group. We still need another lead guitar,drums/percussion, at least 2-3 persons on vocals, or other instruments. There has not been a practice day and time set yet, but it looks like Tuesday or Friday are the most likely days at this time.
If you'd like to join in, please contact Red Williams at 461-5192 or 809-0960. |
We also are always interested in having solos or duets, either vocals or instrumental for the weeks when we do not have a band performing, so please get involved. In other news, we would like to begin planning for a concert to take place in the fall. We need to begin planning now (and practicing) to be able to pull this off. If you would like to be a part of this, please contact Red or Austin Bruce. As things move forward on this, we'll make announcements.
General Feedback
Some of the congregation recieved a brief questionaire in this week's bulletin, and if you got one, we sincerly hope you took the time to fill it in and return it to the offering plate for our review.
In this way we will attempt to more accurately address the needs of our members and visitors to Covenant. The Celebrations Service is new ground for all of us and we understand the need to be able to constantly change and grow as our needs change. We hope that all have been moved by the multimedia presentations over the past few weeks, and have taken the messages home, and out into the world in the hope that it has changed each of us, and possibly will touch the lives of others that we know or meet in the busy-ness of our daily tasks and errands.
Remember to stop to hug your loved ones each day, and to be present in the moment while you're with them, for each moment is precious and will never come again. May Jesus' love be your guide, and His Angels be ever vigilant.
