MISSION
The mission of the finance committee is to identify, maintain and manage the financial system of the church for the congregation. This is accomplished by preparing an annual budget, which is submitted to church council for review and approval.
The committee is responsible for:
| Developing and implementing a plan, together with the stewardship council, for raising funds for the approved budget. | |
| Administering the funds according to the instructions of the church council and guides the work of the church treasurer and financial secretary. | |
| Collecting the offering each Sunday and supplying a summary of accounts to the financial secretary. | |
| Communicating the financial status of the church to the congregation through, giving statements, worship bulletin, church newsletter and the finance report to church council. |
