Covenant United Methodist Women (UMW)
The purpose of the UMW is to help women grow spiritually through programs and fellowship. We also raise funds for local and world missions. We are proud of the fact that 100% of our raised funds go to assorted missions or mission education. All the women of Covenant are encouraged to come and enjoy the fellowship of the Circles. If you have any questions please feel free to call any of the officers or the church office.
Officers of the UMW Unit are as follows: Judy Howard, President; Elizabeth Blackwell, Secretary; and Beth Wilson, Treasurer. Lee Roper is the Circle Leader for the Ruth Cross Circle and Jan Banner is the Leader for the Margaret Wheatley Circle.
The Margaret Wheatley Circle meets on the first Tuesday of every month. (We do not meet in July or August.) Generally we meet in Room 11 at 10:00 a.m. and for those who can, we go to lunch afterwards.
The Ruth Cross Circle meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. We usually meet in the Fellowship Hall.
Any location, date, or time changes for any UMW meetings or events will be in the bulletin.
